I have been working hard this winter. I have been teaching a huge variety of clients from lovely children skiing for the first time to great fun ladies groups and some instructor training and examination as well. I love the variety!
Since I have chosen a profession that combines my profession with my passion, I am lucky as every day seems like a holiday. But I do also take holidays! My winter holidays this year included a trip with my whole family to Murren in Switzerland during the Inferno week when we competed in the Kandahar ski club races. It was great to do some racing, especially in the resort that I grew up skiing in. My sister, Tessa, won the Giant Slalom and I won the Slalom and my brother, Gregor, was second in the Giant Slalom and third in the Slalom. We were all lucky to grow up skiing and our parents are the most enthusiastic skiers ever – they have passed on their enthusiasm and skills to us all!
My other holiday days have been in Val d’Isere – I love the skiing here and take every opportunity I can to ski the mountain. There has been some amazing piste skiing with grippy, hero snow and some great off piste with all the snow we have had this winter. I love both!
I have also been loving my new Scott kit this winter – check it out in the photos!
Enjoy your skiing!
